1. Eligibility Criteria
1.1. Medical Licensure:
Applicants must hold a valid and active medical, dental, or nursing license in their country of practice.
1.2 Educational Background: Candidates must have completed formal training in medical, dental, or nursing disciplines.
1.3 Experience: A minimum of one year of clinical practice in aesthetic medicine or related fields is required.

2. Competency Requirements
2.1. Theoretical Knowledge:

A. Advanced understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to aesthetic medicine.
B. Familiarity with pharmacology, patient assessment, and aesthetic treatment planning.
C. Knowledge of ethical and legal guidelines in the practice of aesthetic medicine.

2.2. Clinical Skills:

A. Proficiency in non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures (e.g., botulinum toxin, fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments).
B. Competence in advanced techniques, including body contouring, surgical interventions, and hair restoration, depending on specialization.
C. Ability to manage complications and adverse outcomes effectively.

3. Certification Examination
3.1. Written Examination:

A. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to assess theoretical knowledge in aesthetic medicine and surgery.
B. Topics include patient safety, treatment protocols, and emerging trends.

3.2. Practical Examination:

A. Hands-on evaluation to demonstrate proficiency in performing procedures.
B. Assessed by certified IEBDAMS examiners at approved testing centers or partner institutions.

4. Continuing Medical Education (CME)
4.1. Requirement:
Certified professionals must complete a minimum number of CME credits annually to maintain certification.
4.2. Purpose: Ensure ongoing education and familiarity with the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine and surgery.
4.3. Focus Areas: Innovative techniques, new technologies, patient safety protocols, and ethical practices.

5. Ethical Standards

6. Re-Certification Standards

7. Accreditation of Training

Candidates must complete training from IEBDAMS-accredited institutions or programs.

9. Professional Conduct
